Wolves eye move to sign £16m ace for Pereira who Bayern Munich want to sign
da pinnacle: Wolverhampton Wanderers are now interested in signing a “phenomenal” goalkeeper ahead of interest from clubs like Bayern Munich and Manchester United, according to a recent report.
Wolves are already planning summer transfers
da premier bet: Wolves’ win over Southampton before the international break has given the Midlands side a healthy cushion above the drop zone, one that isn’t expected to be shortened too much between now and the end of the season. Therefore, while Vitor Pereira’s side still need to confirm their safety, they are in a position where they can start looking ahead to the summer and next season.

Wolves must sell a player this summer who earns a staggering wage at the club
The Wolves hierarchy will be keen to avoid a repeat of this season and it looks as though they are willing to back Pereira in the market, with signing a new striker likely to be at the top of their wishlist amid doubts around Matheus Cunha’s future.
It was claimed last week that the Midlands side are preparing to make an offer to sign Riquelme Fillipi from Palmeiras, hoping £5 million is enough to get a deal over the line for the young talent.
As well as looking at Fillipi, Wolves are also weighing up whether to make an offer to bring Diogo Jota back to Molineux, as Liverpool could be open to offers for the Portugal international this summer. Signing both could bring the perfect balance of immediate experience and long-term potential.
Wolves eyeing move to sign £16m ace ahead of Bayern Munich
It is not only strikers that Pereira wants to sign this summer, as Caught Offside reports that Wolves are among the teams looking to sign goalkeeper Senne Lammens from Belgian side Royal Antwerp.
The report states that his ball distribution skills and impressive performances throughout this campaign have altered Wolves and many other teams to his attention. Both Manchester clubs, Newcastle United, Arsenal and West Ham are also keeping an eye on his situation. Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in signing the 22-year-old shotstopper.
It is claimed that the Midlands side are assessing the potential of Lammens, as Royal Antwerp are willing to sell the player but only if they receive between €20-€25 million, which is roughly £16-20 million. Lammens, who has been dubbed “phenomenal” by scout/analyst Jacek Kulig this season, is under contract until the summer of 2027, but his impressive rise this season may mean Royal Antwerp cash in now.

Pereira currently has Jose Sa, Sam Johnstone and Daniel Bentley as his goalkeeper options, but all three are in their thirties, so the boss will want to freshen up his options and bring in a younger goalkeeper.
Sa has been Wolves’ number one in goal this season but has only kept five clean sheets in 22 league games, and Pereira may believe it is time for a shake-up, as he looks to put his own stamp on this team.
